Hydration Heroes

Many of us will be starting to feel the effects of the cold on our skin. No one enjoys that tight dehydrated feeling.  Here’s my favourite skincare to give skin the moisture it needs now the temperatures are dropping.

Infinatura Cura Oil

Oils are great for hydration – a drop of oil in your favourite moisturiser can give your skin an added boost and make the most of both products. They often also oils boast healing and antioxidants properties. I love Infinatura, Cura Oil which treats hair, skin and nails, as well as reducing acne and stretch mark scarring. It’s rich in Vitamins A-B-E and Omega-9, to reduces fine lines and wrinkles and help protect the skin from free radical damage.

Alpha H Liquid Gold Smoothing and Perfecting Mask The Alpha H Liquid Gold Smoothing and Perfecting Mask is an award-winning salon resurfacing mask which acts as a powerful once-a-week, at home, mini-peel. The 15% Glycolic Acid exfoliates dead surface cells whilst Manuka Honey, Lavender and Vitamin E work to hydrate and plump the fresh new cells underneath the skin to leave the complexion more radiant. The Alpha H Liquid Gold Smoothing and Perfecting Mask promises to remove unwanted dead skin cells and increases cellular renewal as well as maintain healthy firmer and hydrated skin. Use just once a week to hydrate and rejuvenate skin. Beware though, this makes your skin more sensitive to sunlight so you need to wear an SPF of at least SPF15 daily– yes, even in winter! I wear 50 every day under my foundation to be extra safe.

Pure Collection Serums The PÜRE Collection is one of the world’s few beauty brands to have fully certified organic products. I’ve tried two of the three serums from the range, I started with The Prickly Pear Serum, a multifunctional cold pressed serum, great for all types of skin. This moisturizes, softens and brightens under eye circles, as well as restoring elasticity and neutralizing free radicals which cause signs of aging. The Prickly Pear product is the perfect moisturizer for night time and has the double benefit of also treating dark circles. This is more of a luxury serum range (RRP 10ML/£34) but you are getting the benefit of two products in one. Plus it’s one less application to worry about during your night time routine. This is really nice and mild and only a little is required at a time. Just a few of my favourites to hydrate skin and keep a healthy glow  as winter creeps in!
