Lucia Magnani Retexturizing Radiance Mask

Following my positive experience using the Lucia Magnani, Rejuvenating Eye Cream, I was eager to see the results of the range’s Retexturizing Radiance Mask!

Those of you who read that review may recall that the philosophy behind the brand: blending science and its antioxidants with nature for  glowing skin. Lucia Magnani Skin Care combines four antioxidant ingredients: Ubiquinone, Vitamin E, Vitamin C and Alpha Lipoic Acid, in conjunction with three earth elements: Crodarom Rock Crystal (Quartz), Gulf Stream Sea Water (Sea Salt) and Actipyte of Chardonnay GL (Vitis Vinifera Grapefruit Extract).

The beautiful and distinctive packaging is down to award-winning designer Marc Rosen who created the stunning graphics, jars and bottles. The finished product combines contemporary, oval shapes with tortoiseshell caps, chosen by Marc as an expression of long life and Italian style.

The Radiance Mask is formulated based on the unique properties of the waters and mud of Castrocaro Terme in Italy, and enriched with antioxidants CoQ10, Vitamin E and Alpha-Lipoic Acid, the mask contributes to regenerating, strengthening and preserving skin structure. It promises to help maintain a youthful, radiant appearance with its luxurious formulation, rich in natural minerals and ingredients with known astringent effect on the pores, redness and skin irregularities. The result should be a bright radiance, contributing to mitigating expression lines and signs of time.

Sounds good so far! The mask is to be used two to four times per week. Directions are simple: massage into recently cleansed skin and allow to dry for 5-20 minutes. This is a clay formula – if you like the Shrek look you are in luck! But it smells gorgeous and musky, dries quickly – so not too much mess and easily washes off. I found redness was reduced andskin felt smoother and softer. Overall the appearance of my skin seemed improved. I’m looking forward to seeing the impact in the longer term for my skin irregularities.

This is a real treat for the skin and it will last, as you don’t need to use much of this clay for an effective mask and treatment. This is a more luxurious choice – the full size cost is £195 for 150ml. But remember a little goes a long way, so you get the most out of your purchase.
