Asian fusion cuisine has become most popular and one evening I was whisked away deep into the city for a little Pan-Asian tapas on the aptly named pudding lane – sounds very exotic?!
With all the recognisable classics of Asian cuisine fused with Salo-Salo a Filipino type dining for fantastic tapas style feasting.
The décor has vibrant colours with warming reds, coppers and candle light to make it perfect for a fun dinner date or if you have something to celebrate.
With its dim lighting and swanky vibes we were sat at our seats where the waiters were quick to serve us drinks. The atmosphere was pretty chilled, easy to have a decent conversation over the table.
We opted for the tasting menu mixing with some vegetarian dishes. The flavours were rich and delicious, tapas is perfect to have a mix of small dishes so you are able to try lots of different things.
The extensive wine list made it easy to indulge in a tipple and the helpful wait staff we happy to recommend any options plus an exciting choice of cocktails.
The dishes came out one by one, with beautiful presentation, each one a mini masterpiece on its own. We happily tucked in mixing the dishes and flavours as we went. My personal favourite was the Shiitake, morel & aduki bean kibbeh burger!
If you have a dinner with friends planned or a date where you want to try something different to impress then I would recommend coming to enjoy MBER .
