Beauty Trends from London Fashion Week A/W 2017

London Fashion Week for Autumn/Winter took the city by storm and has left us with lots of inspiration for the season ahead, here’s our favourite looks from the shows that are set to become the next hot trends.

Bright Bold Lips

Good news for lipstick lovers the season for bright and bold is here. The catwalks have boasted every shade of the rainbow with pinks, reds and oranges galore. We now have full permission to get adventurous with our lip game. And there’s no rules as statement lips were accompanied with sunset and even contrasting shadows.

Slept in Makeup

Lazy girls rejoice, messed up makeup is in and pristine is out. If you struggled to get your liquid liner right for the past decade – now you need not worry, that’s exactly the look you need to be on trend. Slept-in makeup with a smudgy finish was dominant along lashlines at fashion shows as well as imperfect and smudgy smoky shadows.

Sixties Lashes

Over the top statement eyes need a solid frame and the serious flutter many models were working is the perfect finish. Twiggy inspired clumpy lashes are the ultimate accessory to join your untidy eyeliner and complete your look.

  ‘Spaghetti Mouth’

Messy makeup doesn’t stop there, it’s not just for eyes but lips too. Make-up pro Ciara O’Shea actually named the smudged red lip look ‘spaghetti mouth’. So if your dinner or drinks make your lipstick run – believe it or not, this is actually in style.

Fresh Faced

The no makeup makeup trend isn’t going anywhere and if anything is becoming more and more extreme. If it gets stripped back anymore we won’t even be wearing concealer! Barely there makeup was still reigning strong with flushes of pink, still the time for flawless skinned beauties to shine.

Nude Nails

What better to pair with natural makeup than nude nails? Like their faces, many models were rocking very natural tones on their nails this London Fashion Week. Picking a shade with a touch of shine is a great way to dress it up.
