If you ever have an event or a friend coming to visit or even a date and are at a loss as to where to take them in the vast sea of bars and restaurants available in London, then I urge you to head down a little lane called Lancashire Court. Just further down from Bond Street is this fabulous little Court tucked away where there are restaurants and bars and even a late bar.
I was introduced to this lovely little spot and whenever I’m stuck for ideas I always come here!
When a friend of mine came to stay, I knew Mews of Mayfair would be the perfect little spot for a Friday night dinner. We arrived early to soak up the atmosphere in the court, and as it was a nice evening enjoyed a glass of rosé outside. I love this area for its outdoor seating where the mix of restaurants blend together and all you can hear is the chitter chatter and laughter of everyone enjoying the evening. There are plenty of heaters dotted about for those more chilly evenings.
The staff attentively waited till we were ready to head up for our table. Once there the restaurant is smart and welcoming with an air of sophistication.
There is a delicious British menu on offer with a good drinks menu to boot!
The food was certainly very yummy.
It’s not just the food I come here for; it’s the whole ambiance and what London is really about. Mews of Mayfair sits in the heart of the city hidden away and only the people in the know venture here, so now my secret is out!
