We all have those lipsticks that draw the eye straight to the lip. Those shades that transform bearly there make up into an evening look with a simple slick. Here’s my five favourites for making a loud and proud lipstick statement:

1.Mac Lipglass, Purple Mocha 

I love Plum shades. I think this is a great example of when your lipstick game can completely transform your look. If you need to transition from office to glamours after work drinks, this will do the job. I think this complements almost every skin tone and hair colour but it is bold, wear it when you want to be noticed.

2.Mac, Lustre, Lady Bug 

I love red lipstick but more so on other people! I think I’m not used to such a bright colour first and foremost and then it is such a minefield finding the right shade. For me this one is my fave and the texture is really nice too, soft and glossy. It’s a deep red rather than a pillarbox which suits me and my fair locks better I think.

3.Chanel, Rouge Allure Gloss, Affriolant

I wouldn’t have picked this colour for myself but I got it as a Birthday gift from my trendy friends, who knew coral was happening before I did. This is bright, ideal for spring/summer and to bring some barely there make up to life. The packaging is beaut and it feels great on. When I am brave enough to wear it!

4.Rimmel, Lasting Finish, Burning Desire

This matt lip is a reddish brown that will easily go with most make up looks and outfits. This works as well at a work event as it does for over cocktails as although really highlights the lips its not overpowering.

5.Clinique, Chubby Stick, Budding Blossom

If you like bright and pink then you’ll love this. It’s actually a lipstick lip balm so bonus is it’s very moisturising too. Feels great on and if you want to lift a look with colour this will do it.
