Out & About at BST Hyde Park

So many Londoners say it, there is not better time than Summer in London, people are generally just up for letting their hair down and enjoying what our city has to offer.

During July British Summer Time Hyde Park is just one of the many events hosted at this London favourite spot, there were concerts featuring huge acts including Justin Bieber and The Killers, plus Open House which was a free event for people to enjoy pop up stalls of delicious food, catering for all tastes plus the pop up bars! So last Friday afternoon after the working day was done we headed over to enjoy the sun and sample the food and beverages on offer.

It was a gloriously warm evening, sun still shining, perfect for an outdoors event. No fuss or queuing we were straight into the vast area littered with people enjoying their Friday evening. With a main stage producing great live music to serenade the night, so we started to explore the area.

The plethora of bars and foods stalls were all within easy reach, all different types of culinary delights you could think of, it was hard to choose! People certainly didn’t need to go hungry.

All around people were laying in the sun enjoying their food and drinks with the music to accompany it was a fantastic atmosphere!

Over towards the other end at the back there was an outdoor cinema area set up which screened the Wimbledon tennis followed by the classic film Dirty Dancing, very romantic and chilled set up, no excuse to get bored that’s for sure!

The event was clean, tidy and very relaxed, perfect!
