Fab Five Blushers

As a fair skinned lady, I love a bit of blush to lift my complexion and makeup. Blusher is a daily staple in my beauty routine and has been since I can remember. I have dabbled with quite a few! I have a classic taste with blush, think pink! Here are my fab five choices for a little flush:

1.The Body Shop, All in One Cheek Colour, Flushed

This little pot is aptly named and does exactly what it says on the pot – delivers a perfectly pink flush. This blush is lasting, but easy does it when it comes to application as it is quite a hot pink, a little goes a long way.

2.Bourjois, Little Round Pot Blush, Rose

I love the Bourjois blusher packaging. This is so handbag friendly, it comes with a teeny tiny brush inside and a little mirror, which is great for a quick cheeky top up at midday. They also smell really nice – quite like the name! The finish is a nice tone – not too much and even though the packaging lends itself nicely to top up if required, you shouldn’t need to.

3.Benefit, Rockateur

It’s so difficult not to love Benefit blushers. The packaging is everything! They make such great gifts as they just look so pretty! I am half seduced just looking at them. But fortunately they give good results as well! My most recent love affair from the range is with Rockateur. This is less hot and more rusty pink. It has a little brush and mirror inside, both great for top ups on the move. The shade is understated – perfect for the office and my current every day look. Hence the tired picture – apologies has been doing the rounds in various makeup bags!

4.No7, Blush, Rose Blossom

One for fuchsia fans! Great for summer and for brightening up dull/tired skin. Apply carefully, don’t go mad! Well lit rooms are always best to avoid tipping over into that little bit too pink place.

5.Body Shop, Shimmer Waves, Blush

You may have seen this is my favourite budget beauty buys. This is a lovely pink shimmery blusher. Acts almost like a highlighter and has a lovely sheen in the sun. This is a pretty soft rouge and great way to add a bit of shine to finish off your every day makeup. It can also be used on your eyes which is a nice added bonus.

  1. The body shop shimmer waves looks lovely. I don’t really wear blush often, but it’s something I wish I did!
