Being blonde is hard to maintain, especially if like me you like an ashy/white tone, and what’s worse is the constant bleaching is a nightmare for your hair! However there is a little saviour for those of us who want to keep those copper shades from creeping in – silver shampoo!
- L’Oréal Professionnel Série Expert Silver Shampoo
L’Oréal hair expert the professional range, you can usual source from any hairdressers using L’Oréal. A little more expensive than the high street variety but the colour is fantastic. You have to be careful not to overuse and get the blue rinse look (unless that’s what your going for) but it will last a week and half maybe two to keep the white hair colour. Definitely a top buy.
2. Bleach London Silver Shampoo
With its fun and quirky packaging, and range to suit all blondes this has become an exciting range for blondies to get their hands on. This silver shampoo definitely works, it’s a very rich indigo colour, sure to wipe out any brassy blonde, but again be careful not to over shampoo.
- Lush Daddy-O
What’s lovely about lush products is they always smell beautiful and are made with many natural ingredients. Good colour not quite as strong as the top two however feels really good on my hair giving it oomf!! And it’s vegan! 😉
- John Freda Sheer Blonde Colour Renew
This has a lovely rich texture and feels more like a traditional shampoo but actually has pretty good results. Takes a couple of washes to see the difference in colour but it leaves my hair feeling clean and soft as well as offering a boost in colour. The range also has a conditioner to accompany the shampoo. You can always rely on John Frieda to look after blonde hair.
- Pro Voke Touch of Silver
This is a little less extreme to some of the others i’ve used and for me personally a little too subtle as I really like my hair colour lifted quite a few shades. But if you just want a little boost and maybe it’s your first time using a sliver shampoo, start with this product. Also leaves my hair lovely and shiny.
