Cielo Blanco is all the Friday vibes. The music, layout and interiors are all equally vibrant and create the perfect East London, Mexican dining experience. It is fittingly located in a hub that is any foodies dream: Exmouth Market. A perfect partnership with this relaxed dining spot.
Benches, bright decor and an atmosphere to match. This festival over lunch is true to the culture that Cielo Blanco strives to recreate. Everything is social from the layout to the menu which is ideal for sharing. We opted for the small plate Street Food Experience with six items for £13.50. In a big group like ours you could get a flavour of the whole menu.
There’s great options for all, vegetarian and vegan inclusive. I had a mix with a Sweet Pepper Taco, Mushroom Enchilada and a Beef Quesadilla. This did work out as a little too much! But that’s a nice problem to have when all were delicious and rivaled any Mexican hot spot I have enjoyed before.
Service was also on point and although it was – as always is – tricky to book for a big group online they were hugely accommodating when I called. We were well looked after for drinks with regular check ins. The team were very happy to talk through menu options as well.
Mexican fans should visit Cielo Blanco for great value and taste. This would be perfect for a Birthday jaunt before heading out with its buzzing atmosphere and tunes to match. Sadly I can’t comment on the tequila, so will have to make a trip back!
